Designed by HFEC, Liaoning Huajin 140, 000 T/YABS project was run successfully at a time.

 

As the main body of the key projects of Huajin in the Eleventh Five-Year Plan, being a deep processing project in fine chemical industry, this project was constructed according to the overall arrangement of the general planning of the key projects in the Eleventh Five-Year Plan, located at Huajin Fine Chemical Industrial Park, taking the products manufactured by the installation of 140000 T/Y Butadiene as the raw material, being last single line installation to be put into production during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan. This installation is comprised of two productive lines with the max single line capability of 70,000 tons per year, producing ten brands of ABS products. By adopting the patent technology of bulk polymerization process invented by U.S Dow Chemical Company, the process and technology of this project are advanced, energy saving and environment friendly. With a total investment of nearly 1.2 billion Yuan, this installation covers an area of about 10 hectares. At present, the two productive lines keep running in a stable, safe and continuous way. The commission of 140, 000 T/YABS project, Huajin’s ABS capability increased to a larger scale of 200,000 ton per year, forming a unique superiority of self complementary capability between the emulsion method and bulk polymerization method, which has greatly increased the competitiveness and earning power of the enterprise in the market.
