Project of 1.35 million T/Y synthetic ammonia and 2.40 million T/Y urea of Ordos Wulan Coal Group

      

 

 

 

 

Taking local brown coal that can be easily obtained at lower price as the raw material, applying to the advanced domestic and foreign technology of production of urea by carbon dioxide stripping process, this project can reduce the comprehensive energy consumption by more than 20% compared with the traditional process. The project is constructed at two phases with two productive lines, of which the size of Phase I is comprised of 700,000 T/Y synthetic ammonia and 1.2 million T/Y urea, being the largest monocase urea project in the world. Located at the Economic Development Zone in UlanHotCity, Hinggan League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with a total investment of 10.56 billion Yuan, this project is planned to complete the civil works and installations in Nov 2013 and to be completed in full in Oct 2014. When the project is completed in full, it is predicted that the annual sales income will be about 5 billion Yuan and the total amount of profits will be 1.147 billion Yuan.
