Caprolactam Process

     

       

    At present, HFEC could undertake project in single-train capacity of 20,000TPY CPL. And its major technical and economic indicators such as energy consumption, product quality, safety, environmental protection have achieved advanced level domestically and internationally.


    With benzene as feedstock, it applies benzene hydrogenation and hydration process to produce cyclohexanol and uses cyclohexanol dehydrogenation process to produce cyclohexanone. And then, it uses cyclohexanone as raw material to produce caprolactam by applying ammonia oximation and rearrangement process. Comparing with traditional cyclohexanone process, it has advantages of high utilization of carbon, lower feedstock consumption, less waste, milder reaction condition, good operability, high quality product and good economic benefits. Comparing with other Cyclohexanone oxime and caprolactam process, it has advantages of short process flow, less investment, lower production cost and less by-product.
